The2023 Erewash Council election took place on 4 May 2023 to elect all 47 members ofErewash Borough Council inDerbyshire, England.[1] This was on the same day as otherlocal elections across England.

Following the results, the Conservatives lost control of the council to Labour for the first time in 20 years.[2] The Labour group leader, James Dawson, was appointed leader of the council at the subsequent annual council meeting on 25 May 2023.[3]
