The2023 Central Michigan Chippewas football team representedCentral Michigan University in the2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by fifth-year head coachJim McElwain and played their home games atKelly/Shorts Stadium as members of the West Division of theMid-American Conference (MAC).[1][2] They finished the season 5–7 and 3–5 inconference play[3]

The Central Michigan Chippewas football team drew an average home attendance of 16,350 in 2023.
