Play-offs

[edit]

On 21 April 2024, it was announced thatGateshead would be forced to withdraw from the play-offs after failing to meet the entry criteria for membership of theEnglish Football League, namely failing to attain a 10-year security of tenure for theGateshead International Stadium.[31][32]

It was initially announced that as a result of Gateshead's withdrawal,Solihull Moors would receive a bye to the semi-finals.[31] A second statement was later put out by theNational League, adjusting the structure of the play-offs to be based on final league positions.[33] This revision meant thatAltrincham would automatically advance to the semi-finals to faceBromley, whilst Solihull Moors would faceFC Halifax Town in the quarter-finals.[33]
