On 1 June, Lincoln partnered with sports manufacturer Oxen to produdce their playing kits for the next two seasons.[3]

On 2 June, Lincoln confirmed that Branston would remain their front of shirt sponsor for their home kit for the upcoming season.[4]

On 2 June, Lincoln also confirmed that Allen Signs would be their home and away back of shirt sponsor for the season.[5]

On 3 June, the club launched their new home strip for the season.[6]

On 6 June,Dylan Duffy andSean Roughan were called up to theRepublic of Ireland U21 squad.[7]

On 23 June, the players reported back for pre-season training.[8]

July

On 12 July, Lincoln launched their away strip for the season.[9]

On 12 July, theUniversity of Lincoln becoming the front of shirt sponsor for the away kit.[10]

On 18 July, the club announced thatLNER Stadium would have a new capacity of 10,669 after the installation of safe standing.[11]

August

On 3 August, the club confirmed its squad numbers for the season.[12]

On 3 August,Paudie O'Connor was appointed the new club captain.[13]

On 23 August, the club launched their third strip for the season.[14]

On 31 August, Sean Roughan was called up to the Republic of Ireland U21 squad.[15]

On 31 August, the clubs match againstOxford United was postponed due to international call ups.[16]

October

On 3 October, the game againstLeyton Orient was abandoned due to a medical emergency.[17]

On 16 October, it was confirmed the game against Leyton Orient would need to be replayed.[18]

On 18 October, managerMark Kennedy and assistantDanny Butterfield left the club.[1]

On 9 November, Sean Roughan was called up to the Republic of Ireland U21 squad.[19]

On 13 November,Michael Skubala was confirmed as the new head coach.[2]

On 5 December, theEFL Trophy tie againstAccrington Stanley was postponed due to a frozen playing surface.[20]

On 8 December, the fans voted overwhelmingly in favour of reverting to the iconic badge design used by the club during the eighties and early nineties.[21]

On 28 December, the upcoming game againstShrewsbury Town was postponed due to the visitors progression in theFA Cup.[22]

January

Pre-season and friendlies

Lincoln confirmed their first friendly againstRotherham United on 23 May 2023.[30] Their next friendly against rivalsGrimsby Town was announced on 31 May.[31] On 2 June, they confirmed the club would spend their first week of July inSpain, concluding the visit with a friendly againstStockport County.[32] Four days later another two additions were added to the calendar, againstBoston United andCrewe Alexandra.[33] An additional friendly againstKing's Lynn Town was announced on 19 June.[34]
