The2022Meeting de Paris was the 27th edition of the annual outdoortrack and field meeting in Paris, France. Held on 18 June at theStade Sébastien Charléty, it was the seventh leg of the2022 Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. This was the third time the meeting was held on the stadium's renovated blue running track.

It was 94 °F (34 °C) at the start of the meet, making for unusually hot conditions that favored sprinting. The meeting was highlighted byWinfred Yavi running 8:56 to become the 4th-fastest3000 metres steeplechase runner of all time, andShelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce winning the100 metres in a 10.67 world lead.[1]

Athletes competing in the Diamond League disciplines earned extra compensation and points which went towards qualifying for the Diamond League finals inZürich. First place earned 8 points, with each step down in place earning one less point than the previous, until no points are awarded in 9th place or lower.[2]
