The2022 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship was the 14thIIHF U18 Women's World Championship in ice hockey.
On December 24, 2021, the tournament was cancelled for the second year in a row by theInternational Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[1] However, on March 21, 2022, the IIHF announced it had reconsidered and rescheduled the Top Division tournament for June 6–13, 2022 inMadison, Wisconsin, United States.[2]
The venues which hosted the event inDane County, Wisconsin wereLaBahn Arena, located on the campus of theUniversity of Wisconsin in Madison andBob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena inMiddleton, home of theUSHL'sMadison Capitols.
