The2022 Giro di Sicilia (known asIl Giro di SiciliaEOLO for sponsorship reasons) was the 26th edition of theGiro di Siciliaroad cyclingstage race and the third edition since its revival in 2019.[1]
Three of the 19UCI WorldTeams, fourUCI ProTeams, elevenUCI Continental teams and one national team made up the 19 teams that participated in the race.[2]Trek–Segafredo,EF Education–Nippo Development Team,Zalf Euromobil Fior andBardiani–CSF–Faizanè, with six riders each, were the only teams to not enter a full squad of seven riders. 129 riders started the race, of which 91 finished.[3]
