Pre-season and friendlies

On May 26, Barrow announced their first pre-season fixture, againstSouth Shields.^[51] Four days later, a trip toWitton Albion was added to the schedule.^[52] A third away friendly fixture, againstHolker Old Boys was also confirmed.^[53] Shortly followed by a fourth, againstAshton United.^[54] On June 9, a home pre-season fixture againstFleetwood Town was confirmed.^[55] A second home pre-season match against fellowLeague Two sideSalford City was later added to the calendar.^[56] The finalised schedule was announced with the addition ofPenrith.^[57]
