• 25 July – Minister of JusticeZbigniew Ziobro declared he would begin preparing the formal process for Poland to withdraw from theIstanbul Convention.^{[10][11][12][13]} He claimed the treaty is harmful because it "requires that schools teach children aboutgender in an ideological way" and that it "de-emphasizesbiological sex".^[14]
