The2020 Massachusetts House of Representatives election took place onNovember 3, 2020. It elected members of theMassachusetts House of Representatives.[3] Democrats achieved a net gain of 2 seats. Oneindependent,Susannah Whipps, was also elected.[4] Incumbent SpeakerRobert DeLeo won re-election but resigned before the new session to take a position atNortheastern University;Ronald Mariano replaced him as Speaker.[5]
