The2020–21 Kansas City Roos men's basketball team represented theUniversity of Missouri–Kansas City during the2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Roos, led by second-year head coachBilly Donlon, played their home games on-campus atSwinney Recreation Center inKansas City, Missouri as a returning member ofThe Summit League (Summit).

The Roos finished the season 11–13, 7–7 in Summit play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They were defeated byNorth Dakota State University in theSummit tournament quarterfinal round.

The Kangaroos finished the2019–20 season with a record of 16–14 overall, 8–7 in theWestern Athletic Conference (WAC) to finish in fourth place.
