Instead, what will happen in dance will be a real mystery, due to the official dissolution of Jasmine Tessari-Francesco Fioretti, with the latter having just started a new adventure with Carolina Moscheni.
The only ones who could do this were Sofiia Nesterova and Artem Darenskyi, who in 2020 won the team bronze at the Youth Olympic Games and participated in the European Championship. But last week Sofiia announced she was leaving the sport.
Wagner, now 28 and retired from competitive skating, is the highest-profile skater to publicly come forward with allegations of sexual assault in her sport.
Wagner says she is still trying to figure out what comes next for her after her retirement from competitive figure skating, but she wants to be involved with the "movement" and help bring about structural changes in figure skating.
Yakau Zenko completed his career, but we have promising young athletes – Kolya Kozlov and other boys, so in general everything is not bad.
Two more people from Khrustalny completed their singles career – Alena Kanysheva landed a quadruple toe loop, but the price was too high. Due to the injury (according to the figure skater, it was received before moving to Tutberidze), Alena went into ice dancing, and now she is training with Nikita Nazarov in the Balashikha Olympian group.
Daisuke Murakami was officially released from the Japanese Skating Federation on May 7, 2020.
Now we have one pair from Russia – the figure skating federation has approved the transition of Bogdana Lukashevich and Alexander Stepanov.
