The2018 Iowa State Treasurer election was held on November 6, 2018, to elect theTreasurer of Iowa, concurrently with elections to theUnited States House of Representatives,governor, and otherstate andlocal elections. Primary elections were held on June 5, 2018.[1]
IncumbentDemocratic treasurerMichael Fitzgerald comfortably won re-election to a tenth term in office againstRepublican nominee Jeremy Davis.[2] Fitzgerald continued his tenure as the longest servingstate treasurer in the United States following his re-election.[3]
