The2017 Pinstripe Bowl was abowl game, a post-season Americancollege football event that was played on December 27, 2017, atYankee Stadium in theNew York City borough ofthe Bronx. The eighth edition of thePinstripe Bowl featured theIowa Hawkeyes of theBig Ten Conference against theBoston College Eagles of theAtlantic Coast Conference. It was one of the2017–18 bowl games concluding the2017 FBS football season. Sponsored by theNew Era Cap Company, the game was officially known as theNew Era Pinstripe Bowl.

The contest was televised onESPN, with kickoff at 5:15 p.m. (EST)
