The2017 Italian Open[3][4][5] (also known as the2017 Rome Masters[6] and the sponsored title2017 Internazionali BNL d'Italia[7][8]) was a tennis tournament played on outdoorclay courts at theForo Italico in Rome, Italy. It was the 74th edition of theItalian Open and is classified as anATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the2017 ATP World Tour and aPremier 5 event on the2017 WTA Tour. It took place from 15 to 21 May 2017.
