The2017–18 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season began in October 2017 and ended with theFrozen Four in April 2018.[1] This was the 71stseason in which an NCAA ice hockey championship was held, and US college hockey's 124th year overall.

Conference realignment

The only conference change for 2017-18 was thatNotre Dame moved fromHockey East to theBig Ten as an associate member for men's hockey.
