Led by sixth-year head coachBrad Brownell, the Tigers played their home games atLittlejohn Coliseum inClemson, South Carolina after a one-year of renovation, as members of theAtlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 17–16, 6–12 inACC play to finish in 12th place. They defeatedNC State in the first round of theACC tournament to advance to the second round where they lost toDuke. They received an invitation to theNational Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round toOakland.
