The2015 Virginia elections took place on November 3, 2015. All 40 seats of theSenate of Virginia and 100 seats in theVirginia House of Delegates were up for re-election, as were many local offices.
All 40 seats of theVirginia Senate were up for election. Republicans retained their 21–19 majority.[1]
All 100 seats of theVirginia House of Delegates were up for election. Democrats gained one seat.[2]
