IncumbentRepublican secretaryJon Husted ran for re-election to a second term in office.[2] He defeatedDemocratic state senatorNina Turner in the general election.[3]Voter fraud,redistricting, andearly voting were key issues during the campaign.[4][5] Turner conceded the race early on November 5.[6]
