The2014 Las Vegas Bowl was an Americancollege footballbowl game that was played on December 20, 2014, atSam Boyd Stadium inWhitney, Nevada, in theLas Vegas Valley. The 23rd annualLas Vegas Bowl, it featured theUtah Utes from thePac-12 Conference against theColorado State Rams of theMountain West Conference.[4][5] It was one of the2014–15 bowl games that concluded the2014 FBS football season. The game started at 12:30 p.m.PST[6] and aired onABC andSports USA Radio Network. Sponsored by motor oil manufacturerRoyal Purple, the game was officially known as theRoyal Purple Las Vegas Bowl. Utah beat Colorado State by a score of 45–10.
