It was the 124th edition (for the men) and the 112th (for the women) of theCanadian Open, and was part of theATP World Tour Masters 1000 of the2013 ATP World Tour, and of theWTA Premier 5 tournaments of the2013 WTA Tour. The men's event was held at theUniprix Stadium inMontreal, from August 3 to August 11 and the women's and legends events at theRexall Centre inToronto, from August 3 to August 11.
