The2012Falken Tasmania Challenge was a motor race for the Australian sedan-basedV8 Supercars. It was the second event of the2012 International V8 Supercars Championship. It was held on the weekend of 30 March–1 April at theSymmons Plains Raceway, nearLaunceston,Tasmania.
Race 3 of the championship was won by Victorian Ford driverWill Davison fromFord Performance Racing. Race 4, held the following day was won by fellow Victorian,Jamie Whincup driving a Holden forTriple Eight Race Engineering. Winchup had previously won the second day of the championship.[1] Davison's third place in race four made him the leading performer of the event.
