The2011 Coppa Italia Final was the final match of the2010–11 Coppa Italia, the top cup competition inItalian football. The match was played at theStadio Olimpico in Rome on 29 May 2011[2] betweenInternazionale[3] andPalermo.[4] Internazionale won by 3–1 to retain the trophy.[5][6][7]
While this was the fourth year in which the final was held as a single match in neutralRome (in place of the two-legged tie which had been used for the previous 25 years), it was the first occasion where this was the case in practice, as the other three had all involved one of the resident clubs from the capital city,Roma orLazio.
