The2011–12Magyar Kupa (English:Hungarian Cup) was the 72nd season ofHungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. It started with the first match of Round 1 on 7 August 2011 and ended with the final held in May 2012 atStadium Puskás Ferenc,Budapest.Kecskemét were the defending champions, having won their first cup competitionlast season. The winner of the competition will qualify for thesecond qualifying round[1] of the2012–13 UEFA Europa League.
