The2011–12 season wasForfar Athletic's second consecutive season in theScottish Second Division, having been promoted from theScottish Third Division at the end of the2009–10 season.[1] Forfar Athletic also competed in theChallenge Cup,League Cup and theScottish Cup.

Summary

Forfar finished seventh in theSecond Division.[2] They reached the second round of theChallenge Cup,[3] the second round of theLeague Cup[4] and the fourth round of theScottish Cup.[5]
