The2011–12 season wasFalkirk's second consecutive season in theScottish First Division, having been relegated from theScottish Premier League at the end of season2009–10.^[1] Falkirk also competed in theChallenge Cup,League Cup and theScottish Cup.

Summary

Falkirk finished third in theFirst Division.^[2] They reached the semi-final of theLeague Cup,^[3] the fifth round of theScottish Cup,^[4] and won theChallenge Cup beatingHamilton 1–0 in the final.^[5]
