The2010NCAA men's volleyball tournament was the 41st annual tournament to determine the national champion ofNCAA men's collegiateindoor volleyball. The single elimination tournament was played atMaples Pavilion inStanford, California during May 2010.[1]
Stanford defeatedPenn State in the final match, 3–0 (30–25, 30–20, 30–18), to win their second national title. The Cardinal (24–6) were coached byJohn Kosty.
Stanford'sBrad Lawson andKawika Shoji were named the tournament'sMost Outstanding Players. Lawson and Shoji, along with five other players, comprised theAll Tournament Team.
Until the creation of theNCAA Men's Division III Volleyball Championship in 2012, there was only a single national championship for men's volleyball. As such, allNCAA men's volleyballprograms, whether fromDivision I,Division II, orDivision III, were eligible. A total of 4 teams were invited to contest this championship.
