The2010 Asian Women's Handball Championship was the 13thAsian Championship, which took place from 19 to 25 December 2010 inAlmaty,Kazakhstan. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the2011 World Women's Handball Championship inBrazil.
Due to heavy snow, bothSouth Korea andJapan couldn't make the trip to Kazakhstan in time and the program was moved forward.[1]
China,Japan,Kazakhstan andSouth Korea qualified for the World championship after reaching the semifinals.
