The2007Meteor Music Awards ceremony was held in thePoint Theatre,Dublin on Thursday, 1 February 2007. It was the seventh[1] edition ofIreland's national music awards and the last to be held at the Point before it shut for redevelopment. The event was presented by television personalitiesPodge and Rodge and comedianDeirdre O'Kane, who donned a showgirl outfit to open the awards ceremony.[1] It was later broadcast onRTÉ Two on Sunday, 4 February at 21:00.[2]
