The individual event was won bySébastien Loeb afterTom Kristensen crashed out of the final,[1] and the Nations Cup event byTom Kristensen andMattias Ekström representingScandinavia.[2]
Changes from the past included a number ofwild card drivers, the use of thePorsche 911 GT3 instead of theFerrari 360 Modena and the introduction of theRenault Mégane Trophy alongside theCitroën Xsara WRC and now traditional "ROC Buggy" as competition cars.
