The2005–06 Scottish Women's Premier League was the fourth season of theScottish Women's Premier League, the top level ofwomen's football in Scotland. Matches were played between August 2005 and June 2006.
12 teams contested the championship, withArsenal North andForfar Farmington, winners and runners-up respectively in the2004–05 SWFL First Division,[3] taking the places of relegatedClyde andEast Kilbride.
Hibernian won the title with an unbeaten record (20 wins, 2 draws)[4] by a margin of three points ahead of holdersGlasgow City, to qualify for the2006–07 UEFA Women's Cup. It was the club's second SWPL title overall.Cove Rangers andQueen's Park were relegated.[1]
