The2003 season was theNew York Giants' 79th season in theNational Football League (NFL) and their seventh and final underhead coachJim Fassel. The team failed to duplicate their2002 season's playoff appearance, instead only winning four games and missing the playoffs for the first time since2001, finishing the season on an eight-game losing streak.[1] Jim Fassel was fired after the 2003 season and was replaced byTom Coughlin in 2004.
