The2002 United States House of Representatives election in Vermont was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2002, to elect theU.S. representative from the state'sat-large congressional district. The election coincided with the elections of other federal and state offices.

Incumbent IndependentBernie Sanders won re-election, defeating Republican candidate Bill Meub by 32 points.

Meub was considered amoderate Republican, portraying himself aspro-choice and pro-business, and attacking incumbent representative Sanders for being ademocratic socialist.[3] Sanders nonetheless easily won re-election.[7]
