The2002–03Scottish Challenge Cup was the 12th season of the competition, competed for by all 30 members of theScottish Football League. The defending champions wereAirdrieonians, who defeatedAlloa Athletic 2–1 in the2001 final.[1]

The final was played on 20 October 2002,[2] betweenQueen of the South andBrechin City atBroadwood Stadium,Cumbernauld. Queen of the South won 2–0,[2] to win the competition for the first time.
