They defeatedTennessee to advance to the semifinals of theSEC tournament where they lost toKentucky. They received an at-large bid to theNCAA tournament where they defeatedSaint Joseph's andWake Forest to advance to the Sweet Sixteen where they lost toSyracuse.[2]
