The tournament was a straight knockout, with 10 teams.Kildare andKilkenny did not compete.[1]

Meath were the winners, defeating Westmeath in the final atCusack Park, Mullingar.[2]

Also, the score "21st January – Westmeath (4-07) Louth (1-19)" is the wrong way around - it was Westmeath 1-19 Louth 4-7 as seenhere
