The2001 Galleryfurniture.com Bowl was the second edition of thecollege footballbowl game (renamed theHouston Bowl the following year), and was played at theReliant Astrodome inHouston, Texas. The game pitted theTexas A&M Aggies from theBig 12 Conference and theTCU Horned Frogs fromConference USA (C-USA). The game was the final competition of the2001 football season for each team and resulted in a 28–9 Texas A&M victory. The teams were rivals in theSouthwest Conference for many years.
