The2000 Puerto Rico Democratic presidential caucuses were held on April 2, 2000, as part of theDemocratic Party primaries for the2000 presidential election. 58 delegates to theDemocratic National Convention were allocated to presidential candidates.
AlthoughPuerto Rico would not participate in the 2000 presidential general election because it is aU.S. territory and not astate, it equally participated in theU.S. presidential caucuses and primaries.[1]
