1Fe-LSD, also known as1-(ferrocenecarbonyl)-LSD or asSYN-L-234, is apsychedelic drug of thelysergamide family related tolysergic acid diethylamide (LSD).[1][2][3] It is thought to be aprodrug of LSD.[1][2][3] The drug waspatented byLizard Labs in 2024.[3] Subsequently, it was encountered online as a noveldesigner drug being sold inGermany in November 2025.[1][2] 1Fe-LSD as thehemi-L-tartratesalt has been sold in the form ofblotter containing 200 μg per tab andmicropills containing 300 μg per pill.[1][2] 1Fe-LSD containsferrocene, aniron compound, which is an orangeorganometallic compound and is assumed to result in the distinctive orange color of 1Fe-LSD blotter and pills.[1][2] 1Fe-LSD is not an explicitlycontrolled substance in theUnited States[4] or inCanada.[5]
