The1995 Arena Football League season was the ninth season of theArena Football League (AFL). It was succeeded by1996. The league champions were theTampa Bay Storm, who defeated theOrlando Predators inArenaBowl IX. The AFL realigned its divisions for the third straight year to two divisions per conference, a format that was then used until2016.
Five expansion teams formed in the league: theConnecticut Coyotes,Iowa Barnstormers,Memphis Pharaohs,St. Louis Stampede, and theSan Jose SaberCats.
Meanwhile, both theFort Worth Cavalry and theMassachusetts Marauders were suspended and theCleveland Thunderbolts folded. TheDenver Dynamite remained inactive.
