The1991 Taça de Portugal Final was the final match of the1990–91 Taça de Portugal, the 51st season of theTaça de Portugal, the premier Portuguesefootball cup competition organized by thePortuguese Football Federation (FPF). The match was played on 2 June 1991 at theEstádio Nacional inOeiras, and opposed two Primeira Liga sides:Beira-Mar andPorto. Porto defeated Beira-Mar 3–1 in a game that went toextra-time, which would give Porto their seventh Taça de Portugal.[2]
InPortugal, the final was televised live onRTP. As a result of Porto winning the Taça de Portugal, theDragões qualified for the1991 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira where they took on1990–91 Primeira Divisão winnersBenfica.[3][4][5]
