The1988 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships were the 42nd annualchampionships to determine the national champions ofNCAADivision I men's singles, doubles, and team collegiate tennis in theUnited States.
Stanford defeatedLSU, 5–2, in the final of the team championship, the Cardinal's ninth overall title.
The tournaments were played at theDan Magill Tennis Complex at theUniversity of Georgia inAthens, Georgia.[1] The men's and women's tournaments would not be held at the same venue until2006.
