Golf tour season
The1983 PGA Tour was the 68th season of thePGA Tour , the mainprofessional golf tour in the United States. It was also the 15th season since separating from thePGA of America .
This was also the first season of the "All-Exempt Tour" which provided many more exemptions per year. For example, those that finished in the top 125 of the money list maintained full-time status rather than the top 60 which had been the historic benchmark.[ 1] [ 2]
