The1983 East Northamptonshire District Council election took place on 5 May 1983 to elect members ofEast Northamptonshire District Council inNorthamptonshire, England. This was on the same day asother local elections. TheConservative Party retained overall control of the council which it had held since the council's creation in 1973.^[1]
