The1983–84 Challenge Cup was the 83rd staging ofrugby league's oldest knockout competition, theChallenge Cup. Known as theState Express Challenge Cup due to sponsorship byState Express 555, the final was contested byWidnes andWigan atWembley. Widnes won the match 19–6.
