Golf tour season
The1972 PGA Tour was the 57th season of thePGA Tour , the mainprofessional golf tour in the United States. It was also the fourth season since separating from thePGA of America .
Rogelio Gonzales suspension [ edit ] At theGreater New Orleans Open , Colombian rookie,Rogelio Gonzales was disqualified after it was learned that he had changed his scorecard earlier in the tournament.[ 1] In addition to his disqualification, the PGA Tour lifted Gonzales playing privileges.[ 2]
