The1971AAA Championships was the 1971 edition of the annual outdoortrack and field competition organised by theAmateur Athletic Association (AAA). It was held from 23 to 24 July 1971 atCrystal Palace National Sports Centre in London, England.[1][2]

Summary

The Championships covered two days of competition. The marathon was held in Manchester and the decathlon event was held in Blackburn.

The championships were held at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre for the first time.[3]

Paul Nihill won his 7th AAA title
