The 1967New York Yankees season was the 65th season for the Yankees. The team finished ahead of only theKansas City Athletics (who moved toOakland after the season ended) in theAmerican League final standings, with a record of 72–90, finishing 20 games behind theBoston Red Sox. It was their most losses in a season since losing 94 games in1913, which was the first season in which the team went by the word Yankees. New York was managed byRalph Houk. The Yankees played atYankee Stadium.
