The1967 Houston Oilers season was the eighth season for theHouston Oilers as a professionalAFLfranchise; The team improved on theirprevious output of 3–11, with a 9–4–1 record.[1] They won the Eastern Division and qualified for the postseason for the first time infive seasons, but lost to theRaiders in theAFL Championship Game at Oakland.[2][3][4][5]
