The1966 Japan Series was the championship series ofNippon Professional Baseball for the1966 season. The 17th edition of theSeries, it was abest-of-seven playoff that matched theCentral League championYomiuri Giants against thePacific League championNankai Hawks. This was a rematch of theprevious year's Japan Series, which the Giants won. Yomiuri again defeated Nankai, this time in six games, to win their second consecutive championship.
